NE Nebraska | I could not get this to post in Market Talk. I have subscribed to Roach Ag for years. Do a lot of forward contract cash sales so the sell signal system has always been good for letting you know when to pay attention. I think it works well in normal markets, but the last few years have frustrated me. Seems as though the system can ignore trends and sold too much too soon during the big run up, and then too little too late during the great decline when each market peak is lower than the previous peak. Example: corn and bean sell signals today. I think several weeks ago they were in buy signals, but I could have sold better prices then than on today's sell signal. NOW they are recommending selling a 20% increment of 2024 corn and beans. | |
