Posted 9/4/2024 08:11 (#10877934) Subject: Are Grade 8 1/2 in bolts good for holding a 90 gal fuel tank on truck?
Had to take my 90 gal fuel tank off semi and had to cut out the fancy studs Peterbilt has to hold fuel tank straps on. They are 1/2” in diameter, but not sure on strength. Will a regular grade 8 suffice or is there something soecial that I need to make a trip to Peterbilt for those mounting bolts?
