Missouri
Class 6 machine (9660STS), 6 row head. Plenty of capacity on the machine, if the header can run faster.

Combine unfortunately has a standard feederhouse gearbox, and only runs 680rpm feederhouse backshaft. Our other class 5 machine (9560) has the heavy duty feederhouse reverser gearbox, and it runs up ton 740 rpm.

The sprockets in the header from the rear shaft to the row unit shaft are reversible. 30 and 33 teeth. Flipping them would go from 10% underdrive to 10% overdrive. Any ideas if that would be too much for the gearboxes, or has anyone tried that before that can share results?
