We pulled a John Deere 2700 7 shank with an 8520T for years. Pulled it just fine, definitely could tell where the gumbo was. We have fields with average CEC in the 30’s and it would pull it. We have 360 Bullet points on it and it does a nice job of flipping everything over

That said, if you’re looking for something lighter, or faster, I’d look at something like a Horsch RX or HD model joker. We have an older RT model joker and pull it across almost all of our level ground every fall. The HD model is heavier and more aggressive and can work up to 10” deep.

I’ve never ran on, but I’ve seen where a Salford 5200 ran, and it seemed to do a nice job of chopping and flipping residue in the fall
