I did a small hole at night 40 years ago. Ran a power washer hose through a 1" pipe and kept adding on. Had quite a bank so I ran the pipe at an up angle and the dirt ran back out of the pipe where I was standing. When I got through I left the pipe and ran a small hose through the pipe to get water to the other side. This would not run a pivot!
