5 acres in 12 hours wouldnt be considered bad, here (flood irrigation in ne montana). But i will agree that does sound pretty flat, i believe we shoot for 2/10ths here (perhaps my memory isnt working or my maths are dum?). Is it not running off fast enough and drowning it out? I was always taught drains are as important as delivery in flood irrigation.
