South Central MN | Have a factory front 3pt on my 7290r. I use it on a weed zapper, and adjusting the 3pt height is one way I keep the zapper bar out of the crop.
While moving, the front 3pt is not holding position. If it starts in position A and I adjust to position B, it'll move back to position A within a couple of seconds. It does not matter if B is higher or lower than A, it still resets to A.
The only way I've found to get it to hold at B is to adjust up/down quickly past my desired position and then come back to it. That position B might then hold, but if I adjust it a new position C, it'll reset to B.
Why is it doing this? Why won't it hold at the position I set? It also only seems to happen when moving; if I'm in park the hitch holds whatever position I move it to.
