I screwed up and hooked one of ours ground to ground, hit the switch on the Goodall, and jumped in the truck to start it. Had smoke coming out of it. I sent it in to them and they give you a quote before they repair them for no cost, I had them fix mine because it was 1/2 price of a new one.
