WCIL | We have done several with a backhoe and gradually dug shallower as we went from the ditch. Did several feet of 4" with a walk behind trencher last year for down spouts on a house but it was shallow. I wouldn't hesitate a bit to use a bigger trencher like you plan to. Will be worth it when you're done. We had a pothole that we ran a 6" line through with plans to put a riser on it. Ended up trying it without a riser and it dried it completely, so didn't need it. | |
