Subject: Case IH 8120 header height

Whitewater, WI
New to me 8120. Hooked up the 3020 bean head for the first time and am figuring out the header height control. I put in all the settings in head 1 and head 2 I believe I needed. Setting up to run under pressure setting. With the thresher and feeder/header on, I run the head down to what I want for a cutting position. Press 1 on the height switch. Run the header up to the upper position and press 2. When I hit resume it toggles back and forth between position 1 and position 2. I did have to adjust the pressure sensitivity with the +/- button a little but I think I have that where I need it. The main issue I am seeing though is it travels up and down, when I hit the resume button, very very slow. It would be un-usable at this speed. Lowering is slightly faster than raising but not great. It is much faster raising it manually. I see you can adjust the speed for the manual movement but am I able to move adjust it for the automatic mode or is this normal? It is running through a pro 700 monitor. I have the operators manual for the machine but did not find anything about header raise/lower speed in there besides in the manual mode. I also noticed that when I set the head at what I would call harvest height, it is a negative percentage number for feeder house height. Only about -8%. Would that effect it at all requiring calibration for the raise and lower speed to function? I appreciate any insight.
