| I ordered parts for a JD dealer repair of my combine. During their sale. I agreed to wait for repair until they were not busy. I took it in, work done, bill for parts MUCH higher. “Well the parts were not bought during our sake, we had to charge expedited shipping, and other excuses “
I ordered parts during sale. “I see you did. But another customer needed his combine for small grain so we used them on his combine. So your parts are full price, extra shipping”. I kid you not. Then I found out they set up “Farm Plan” and put it on there. I never signed up, they had started one on me before. I got charges for rebuild late model 16 row planter. Mine is 8 row, never been in their shop.
Last decade I have not spent $10 there. Order parts online, go to unconnected JD dealer.
What SHOUP did was fine. IF a dealer extends a sale price to me. I thank them. If they tell me upcoming sale, I thank them. Then decide if worth the wait.
The 8 is the letter I pulled down.
