Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I wanted to get my Deere 635FD soybean head in shape for this years soybean harvest so I ordered a complete cutter bar kit. The amount was some $3000 plus. This was in early August.
I received the shipment with one defective part which they replaced. The Harvest sale is on now and this kit would have qualified for the 10% sale price. Today I placed another rather large order with items that do qualify for the 10% off sale. I asked if they could help me out on the 10% portion that I missed by ordering the cutter bar kit too early.
The salesman said he was not in a position to help me out and transferred me to someone "higher up". This person said the computer (still blaming the computer) wouldn't allow a change and he could not help me out with the 10%, I had in effect overpaid.
I said I was in effect penalized by ordering and paying "too soon". He said that I did get the parts early and that was in effect my penalty for getting them ahead of the rest of you.
I was very disappointed in his reply. Somebody please remind me in case I forget for next year- Don't order Shoup parts early.
