Faunsdale, AL | I hand sharpen on a regular bench grinder. Harder to do now I have bifocals. Have to keep up with eye exams and updated prescription! Good light helps a lot too.
Saw a YouTube review of the Drill doctor that showed that it could not sharpen the heavy bits with the thick center web. Did fine on standard and thin web bits. There is a 3/4” model but most are 1/2” down.
The video showed a Chinese import that did a good job on everything
