E ND | I think the industry trend towards huge curved windshields with small structural ROPS posts for visibility is part of the problem. Curved glass is complicated to make right (QC issues) and the large glass and big cab openings tend to flex. IF they're not installed perfectly, or part of the edge of the glass point loads against the frame they pop.
I don't think the sealed up nature of the cabs is a big deal, the cabs all have devices to exhaust pressure via hvac so can't imagine that is the issue. | |
