SE NE | Have a CaseIH 2577 seems to be lacking a bit of power. The engine smokes a bit to compared to the other 8.3s we have. It was suggested to me that I check all of the hoses to the turbocharger and that those look good, turbo spins freely by hand and wastegate appear to be operating properly. While putting it back together I notice this ring on the intake of the turbo is cracked, is this my problem? I can’t really tell if the ring actually seals anything or not if it were intact.
