Mig weld a patch over the area you are working on. Keep your temp down with a wet rag around the area but not where your weld is. When done apply JB weld to the seem you welded in case of pin hole leaks depending on your abilities. Brazing takes too long and warps and pulls the metal too much. CO2 in your tank is best. Your patch should be at least an inch bigger than the end of your crack.
