I am in the need for a single winged batwing mower.Only can be plus or minus 10 ft in width.I read on here of a guy whom suggested always to buy the 15 ft ,take off one side,hook up a weight box shield for the missing side.Then you have a gear box.PTO input shaft,wheel.parts for near free,,,basically for same cost as a single wing.Is or does this make any sense?
