Agree, smaller used bins are cheap storage.  Have put up several used bins through the years and saved money doing it.  You can really save some money if you do it yourself.  If you need bin jacks and can't find any used ones at a reasonable price you can make them.  Small chain hoist, some pipe and a welder are all you need. 

By the way, sounds like your cousin got a real deal on his bin.
