A 15,000 bushel pile outside will require luck to not have big damage loss here.
IF you put it in the shed, dirt works OK. I would prefer it over rock if the dirt is packed. I have been told to cover the rock with lime and it the corn can be kept separate.
I have been involved with plastic on the ground and then clean up. That is labor intensive to say the least, but we got it done.
