Subject: Gleaner Rotor

Top middle of MO. land of green hills and grass
Have a 2001 Gleaner R62. Currently has an enclosed rotor. Was planning to run it 1 more year then replace the bars.

I’ve come across someone selling one of the 8 bar open type. Also appears to have a mix of a wide spaced and narrow spaced bars on it.

Questions I have
For soybeans and wheat which is the better rotor option?
And for those same crops, are the wide/narrow/mixed the best combination?
